Search the Library Catalog

Have you narrowed down your topic? Do you have all the background information you need and find yourself ready to get more in depth research? If you answered YES then you are ready to:

Search the Catalog

You can find books in Wardman Library by searching the online Catalog.

 

 

 

When searching the online catalog, a basic search will let you search by keyword, title, author, subject or call number. An advanced search will let you search by a combination of these fields, as well as by format, language, location, and date.

Need a book? Suggest one for purchase.

Each department at Whittier is allocated funds for library book purchases. If we do not have a book you need, contact your subject librarian about purchasing the book.

Introduction to the Library Catalog

The Wardman Library Catalog is the online catalog for Whittier College.  Use the library catalog:
  • to find information on library holdings
  • to view your personal checkout record
  • to connect to the LINK+ to request books from other colleges/universities in California and Nevada.
  • to view the library reserve list for your courses.

If you can't find what you need at Wardman Library, we can borrow items from another library through LINK+.

Finding eBooks

1. Go to Find Books, Articles & More page on the Wardman Library Homepage.

2. Under Find Books (and Electronic Books, and Films), click eBook Academic Collection (EBSCOhost).
