Department of Anthropology

As of September 2015, AAA (American Anthropological Association) style (for all publications) follows the Chicago Manual of Style, 17th edition, particularly in regard to reference citations. The Chicago Manual of Style is a style guide for American English. It prescribes writing and citation styles widely used in publishing.
APA style is commonly used for citing sources within the field of behavioral and social sciences.
