Lola Hoffman, author, is an alumnus of Whittier College class of 1923. Among Hoffman's own publications, the Lola Hoffman Library Collection includes rare books dating back to the 16th century, works on the Occult and religion, works on natural healing and medicine, works of classic literature, and an extensive collection of works on Ancient and modern Mexico. The collection in is over three languages and shows Hoffman's vast knowledge and interests. The most unique and prized item in the collection is the Edward Kingsbury set of Mexican Antiquities dating back to the 18th century. These volumes include hand colored lithograph facsimile copies of Mexican codices, architecture, and scholarly research.
